Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Lead Registered Nurse (RN) โ€“ Part-Time (3 Days/Week)ย 
Position Summary
ReVive Orthopedics Spine & Sports Medicine is seeking an experienced ASC Lead Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong perioperative background to oversee clinical operations within our ambulatory surgery center. This role is responsible for managing preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting a culture of safety and continuous clinical improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for all perioperative services (pre-op, intra-op, post-op).
  • Serve as a circulating nurse with a focus on orthopedics and pain management procedures.
  • Perform comprehensive preoperative patient assessments to ensure readiness for surgery.
  • Maintain and monitor ASC logs, quality metrics, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to AAAHC, CMS, OSHA, AAMI, and AORN standards and guidelines.
  • Oversee infection control and sterilization practices.
  • Develop and maintain staff and Anesthesia schedules to support operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals.
  • Conduct and participate in quality improvement initiatives and studies.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, anesthesia providers, administrative leaders, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Promote a workplace culture centered on patient safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an operating room setting, including intraoperative experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of perioperative nursing practices.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and accreditation standards (AAAHC, CMS, OSHA, AAMI, AORN).
  • Experience with orthopedic and pain management procedures preferred.
  • Familiarity with SIS (Surgical Information Systems) is a plus.
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
