Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily pharmaceutical production operations within a regulated GMP environment. This role is responsible for leading a team of technicians, maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards, and driving operational efficiency across manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced setting, excels at team leadership, and brings strong working knowledge of GMP requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee day‑to‑day manufacturing activities including compounding, filling, packaging, labeling, and material preparation.
* Assign tasks, monitor workflow progress, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to meet production deadlines.
* Maintain compliance with cGMP, Good Documentation Practices, and all regulatory expectations.
* Conduct routine floor walkthroughs, support internal and external audits, and ensure inspection‑readiness at all times.
* Troubleshoot equipment or process issues and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and calibrations as needed.
* Lead, coach, and evaluate team members to support performance, skill development, and engagement.
* Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on efficiency, quality, and safety.
* Oversee proper handling of hazardous materials and champion site EHS standards.
* Collaborate on deviations, CAPAs, and process investigations as a manufacturing subject matter expert.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience; aseptic processing required
* At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a GMP environment.
* Strong understanding of FDA, cGMP, and 21 CFR Parts 210/211 regulations.
* Experience using ERP, MES/EBR, LIMS, or similar manufacturing systems.
* Ability to aseptically gown and maintain qualification.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
* Bachelor"s degree in a science‑related field or equivalent experience.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
* Strong reliability, punctuality, and adaptability to changing priorities.
Preferences:
* Prior experience with performance management platforms such as ADP.
* Background supporting equipment troubleshooting, validation, or process improvements.
* Experience participating in GMP inspections or internal audits.
* Strong organizational capabilities and documentation accuracy.
