Schedule: Monday-Friday | 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Position Summary
The Staff Pharmacist Manager is accountable for second-shift manual dispensing operations within a high-volume, automated home delivery pharmacy environment. This role achieves business results through people, providing oversight and leadership to licensed pharmacists and pharmacy technicians while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient pharmacy operations.
Aligned with Cigna's leadership competencies, this role requires a people-focused leader who demonstrates accountability, adaptability, collaboration, and a continuous improvement mindset while delivering consistent results for our patients, customers, and enterprise partners.

  • Accountable for second-shift pharmacy performance, safety, quality, and compliance
  • Owns daily production results, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of operational metrics
  • Holds self and team members accountable for meeting performance expectations and regulatory standards

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of licensed pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
  • Execute performance management processes, including goal setting, coaching, feedback, and corrective action

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Active and in good standing Indiana Pharmacist License or willingness to obtain Indiana licensure within six (6) months of hire
  • Prior experience leading, supervising, or influencing teams
  • Experience in a fulfillment center a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work second shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM), Monday through Friday
