POSITION SUMMARY: PHARMACIST - PER DIEM / ON CALL

Fairfax Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist. The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the complete and efficient operation of the pharmacy within all legal and accreditation/certification requirements and applicable facility policies, procedures, codes and standards.  This includes administrative, pharmaceutical, and professional functions relating to pharmaceutical care provided at this facility.

Wage Range:

Minimum: $53.20/hour

Maximum: $80.47/hour

Work Schedule: 8-hour shift, must be able to work at least two shifts per month. 8AM-4:30PM

Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited Pharmacy Program is required.

Experience:  A minimum of three (3) years hospital pharmaceutical experience is preferred; must possess the experience to oversee the provision of medication requirements for the patient populations treated in this facility, including knowledge of dosage for age-specific populations.

Licensure: Currently licensed as a Pharmacist in Washington state. 

Additional Requirements: A working knowledge of Joint Commission Standards, OSHA regulations, and state and federal laws and regulatory requirements.
