Responsibilities

As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

This position is a float position that will consist of various 8, 10, 12 hours shift with 1 weekend per month. Hours will vary!

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

1. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.

PREFERRED:

1. One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.

2. Clinical and operational knowledge preferred.

3. Good communication skills.

Work Hours:Varies, 8, 10 and 12 hr shiftsWeekend Requirements:Yes- Rotating BasisEmployment Type: PART_TIME
