MCFA seeks a highly experienced professional in the role of Assistant Project Manager. The successful candidate will embody key character traits that define an effective project manager, including:

Experience with technical projects, collaborative contracting teams, and experience as a project engineer, field superintendent or project manager is a plus.


What you'll do:

This role will work closely with the Project Manager in coordinating, executing, and overseeing construction projects within the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will successfully manage the construction of clean room spaces as well as oversee the completion and inspection of architectural finishes. Additionally, they will be responsible for punch list oversight and space turnover. Key tasks and typical duties include:

  • assisting in project planning and scheduling to align timelines and resources,
  • monitoring project progress through regular site inspections and status updates,
  • coordinating with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services,
  • managing documentation such as contracts, change orders, and progress reports,
  • supporting budget tracking and cost control to avoid overruns,
  • ensuring adherence to safety protocols,
  • regulatory standards,
  • and pharmaceutical-specific requirements (e.g., GMP compliance for clean rooms),
  • facilitating communication between project teams, clients, and stakeholders, and contributing to risk assessment and mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

  • Education: Bachelors Degree (required)

    • 3-5 Years experience in the Pharma Construction industry
    • 1-2 Years experience with Clean Room Construction
