Job Title: Power BI Architect - Pharma Analytics
Client: Novo Nordisk
Experience: 12+ Years

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Architect with strong pharmaceutical domain expertise to lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise analytics solutions. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Power BI, data warehousing, cloud platforms, and pharmaceutical commercial, patient, and market access analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Design and architect scalable Power BI solutions for enterprise-wide reporting and analytics.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, commercial teams, patient services teams, and IT leadership to translate business requirements into analytics solutions.
Lead dashboard and semantic model design, ensuring performance, scalability, governance, and security.
Define BI architecture, data models, KPI frameworks, and reporting standards across multiple business functions.
Drive migration and modernization initiatives from legacy BI platforms to Power BI.
Work closely with Data Engineering teams on Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Databricks, or similar cloud data platforms.
Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), governance frameworks, deployment pipelines, and enterprise reporting standards.
Provide technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and best practices to BI development teams.
Present analytics solutions and business insights to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
Technical Skills
Expert in Power BI Architecture, DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling
Experience with Tabular Models and Semantic Layer design
Strong SQL expertise
Experience with Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Redshift, or similar platforms
Knowledge of Power BI Service Administration and Governance
Experience with CI/CD, Deployment Pipelines, Git Integration
Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
Experience integrating AI capabilities such as Power BI Copilot, Fabric AI, or Generative AI solutions is highly desirable
Client & Leadership Responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders.
Lead requirement workshops, solution discussions, and architecture reviews.
Recommend innovative BI and AI-driven solutions to improve business decision-making.
Drive executive-level conversations around KPI definitions, reporting strategy, and analytics roadmap.
Support presales activities including solution estimation, architecture proposals, and client presentations.
Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on delivery progress and risks.
Pharma Domain Experience Required
Strong understanding of one or more of the following areas:
