The Opportunity: Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Director, Analytics to join our dynamic team. This individual will be instrumental in elevating and optimizing current reporting programs, processes, and outputs, as well as finding new ways to support clients with a data-driven focus. The Activation Analytics team oversees our media-based analytics programs and omnichannel campaigns, defining reporting programs that define key business outcomes, objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Note: Must reside within 90 miles of Cedar Knolls, NJ.

Key Responsibilities

Core Function:

  • Oversee a portfolio-level reporting and analytics program.
  • Own and direct all aspects of client development and direction; ensure client satisfaction with project deliverables.
  • Support cross-functional projects using data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions.
  • Oversee team management, reporting objectives, and key performance indicators process to identify trends and evaluate the success of client initiatives and objectives.
  • Manage direct reports and mentor team outside of client deliverables.
  • Serve as your portfolio's liaison to Activation Analytics leadership and work closely with the data engineering team, digital strategy team, and cross-office peers to continue to grow and optimize Fingerpaint's data initiatives, analytics programs, and practices.
  • Examine, interpret, and communicate results and business impact of analytical initiatives to key internal stakeholders and client teams.
  • Develop and own analysis approach for engagement activities, targeting analysis, reporting, and ad hoc requests with a focus on omnichannel.

What You'll Bring: Required Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Science, or Communications.
  • Experience:
    • 7-10 years of analytics and reporting experience, with a background in pharmaceutical and digital marketing (can be combination of client and agency experience).

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.
  • Familiarity with syndicated data sources (eg, IQVIA, claims data, etc).

Skills:

  • Expertise with BI platforms (Tableau, Data Studio, etc.) and programming languages like SQL.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and management skills are required.
  • Strong problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workload and meet project deadlines.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to internal and external customers.
  • Must enjoy working in demanding environment as a key member of a dynamic, team-based organization.
