Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) is looking for a compassionateBilingualWISeTeam Therapistto join our Wraparound Intensive Services (WISe) team, dedicated to helping at-risk kids and their families access intensive,personalizedmental health support.WISeoffers a highly individualized approach, meeting families where they are-at home or in convenient community locations-to create a plan centered on each child and family's strengths.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Deliver clinical services to children and families, including evidence-based treatments (CANS certification required within two months of hire).
  • Provide outreach and participate in meetings in various settings (home, community, office).
  • Collaborate with schools, social services, and providers to ensure continuity and quality of care.
  • Build support networks, including natural and community supports, to empower families inWISe.
  • Educate families, advocate for client rights, and maintain coordination with agencies like DSHS, court systems, and housing authorities.
  • Support clients in accessing healthcare, developing self-management skills, and connecting with primary care and dental providers.
  • Provide crisis intervention and coordinate with crisis services as needed.
  • Document client progress and maintain client records in alignment with agency standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION:Master's Degree in Psychology, social services, or a mental health field.
EXPERIENCE:Experienced (minimum 2 years of job-related experience)
Bilingual Spanish required.
This position requires driving clients in a personal vehicle on behalf of the agency; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in the state of Washington, and have reliable, insured transportation.
LICENSURE:Agency Affiliated Counselor(can be obtainedafter hire)
Preferred Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE:Intermediate (minimum 3 years of job-related experience)
Business-rated insurance may be required if performing outreach duties.
LICENSURE:Washington License (LICSW, LMFT or LMHC)
