General Job Description

This position will be responsible for the sale of the complete line of products and services offered by the Company. This position involves making outside sales calls, obtaining orders or contracts, and demonstrating our products at off-site customer locations. This position includes managing sales within assigned territories.

Responsibilities

  • Rental sales through Lease system.
  • Contract maintenance sales, vehicle finance sales, new and used vehicle sales, and equipment rentals.
  • Responsible for contacting new prospects via direct mail programs, telemarketing, and cold calls.
  • Develop and present sales proposals to prospects for all product and service offerings.
  • Follow up with prospects and complete the sales process.
  • Manage existing Lease customer base.
  • Develop and coordinate marketing programs/strategies and aggressively pursue credit worthy prospects.
  • Prepare weekly sales call report and submit it to the Director of Lease.

Territory Responsibility

  • As assigned by management with the right to revise territory responsibility or assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years' outside sales experience.

Desired Job Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license in the state of employment and a qualified MVR abstract.
  • Transportation industry experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.

  • Organization: Ability to organize and prioritize work schedule on short-term basis (more than 1 month).

  • Communication: Ability to formulate complex and comprehensive materials, such as legal documents, authoritative reports, official publications of major scope and impacts, and make formal presentations.
  • Mathematics: Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret complex statistical data and develop forecasts and computer models.
