From the beginning of the vehicle purchase, lease or rental process to maintenance and parts, our team of dedicated and highly skilled professionals work diligently to keep our customers trucks on the road and running smoothly. Role Summary
This outside truck sales opportunity is focused on helping prospective and existing truck customers make both new and used commercial truck purchases.
Truck sales job description
  • Call on trucking customers on a regular basis.
  • Present the vast number of value-added services and products Allstate Peterbilt offers.
  • Maintain knowledge of the trucking industry and Peterbilt trucks.
  • Work with sales customers calling or visiting the dealership on assigned days.
  • Manage truck sales details such as specifications, scheduling, sales orders, pricing, etc.
  • Complete ongoing training.

Territory Sales Representative Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Strong work ethic with excellent self-discipline and time management skills.
  • Outgoing personality and desire to meet new people.
  • Reasonable mechanical knowledge with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Knowledge of trucks and trucking is a benefit.
  • Customer relations experience within the Trucking Industry or a related industry.
  • Exceptional Customer Service Orientation.
  • A desire for unlimited earning potential.
  • A record of success in past positions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Some travel is required.
  • Commercial driver's license or ability to obtain one preferred.
