Does your dog have a closet full of clothes? Is your cat so cool they need to wear shades? We call that petcentricity. If you enjoy making pets look adorable and smell irresistible, we are looking for experienced Pet Groomers, Dog Groomers, and Pet Stylists to join our pack.
As a Pet Groomer, youre pawsitively passionate about people and their pets. Youll deliver exceptional, neighborly service while providing expert dog grooming services in a safe and welcoming pet grooming salon. Whether youre turning a muddy mess into a proud pup, grooming to breed standards, or customizing a look based on a pet parents request, you play a key role in helping pets look and feel their best while building lasting relationships with their owners.
What Youll Do
  • Provide full-service dog grooming including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling
  • Groom to breed standards or customize based on each pet parents request
  • Safely handle and groom dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments
  • Deliver a grooming experience that gives every pet their best spaw day
  • Build relationships with neighbors and recommend pet products and services
  • Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all pets in your care
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized grooming salon environment
  • Support store events and help grow your client base through great service
  • Assist store team members as needed during grooming downtime
  • Continue developing grooming techniques and skills to grow your career

Requirements and Responsibilities
  • 1+ year of professional pet grooming, dog grooming, or pet stylist experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience with breed-standard cuts, hand scissoring, clipping, and finishing techniques
  • Strong understanding of animal behavior and safe handling practices
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle pets or equipment up to 65 lbs
  • Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods
  • Ability to provide your own grooming tools and equipment (clippers, blades, shears, etc.)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be 18+ years old and able to meet hiring requirements set by the local franchise owner
