We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, proactive Senior Marketing Coordinator to play a vital role in the Marketing Department, to provide administrative support of marketing initiatives, performing tasks as determined by the needs of the projects, while helping to ensure that efforts are executed effectively, on schedule, on task and on budget to meet Corporate Goals and Objectives. This person will be integrally involved in a wide variety of marketing projects—from new products, online ecommerce efforts, direct mail print catalogs, copywriting, advertising, virtual trade shows and more. Ideal candidates will bring experience in marketing, administrative support, copywriting/content, ecommerce or sales support. A background, education or knowledge with livestock, horses, farming, or the animal health industry is an added plus in this position.Key Responsibilities
  • Right Hand Marketing Support Person to the Vice President of Marketing
  • Traffic Controller to the Marketing Team on Marketing Projects and Initiatives: Includes Online/Web/Ecommerce, Direct Mail Print Catalogs, Advertising Efforts
  • Marketing Point Person amp; Coordinator on New Products and Brands and Efforts
  • Liaison with/to Internal Company Teams, as well as Outside Vendors and Suppliers
  • Gather, Research, Curate and Compose Copy/Details for New Products and Marketing Efforts (includes Online Ecommerce and Print Catalogs)
  • Vendor Advertising Communication, Collaboration and Coordination Activities
  • Support “Right On” Marketing Calendar Needs/Efforts/Activities Focused on Sales Division, Top Vendors, Seasonality, Key Products and Promotions
  • Support the Launch of New Products and Vendors as Needed/Deemed Appropriate
  • Provide Assistance to Marketing Team as Needed/Deemed Appropriate
  • Additional Needs/Activities as Deemed Appropriate
Qualifications
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Ecommerce, Advertising, Business, or Related Field of Study Preferred
  • 7+ Years Experience in Marketing, Administration, Project Management, Ecommerce, Communications, and/or Direct Mail/Catalog Marketing
  • Business to Business (B2B) and/or Direct to Consumer (D2C) Marketing Experience, Skills and Knowledge
  • Proficient in Gathering, Curating and Writing Copy for New Products to Sell Online and Through Print Catalogs
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Proven Successful Organizational and Time Management Skills
  • Project Management Skills and/or Experience a Plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Additional Computer Skills a Plus
  • Ability to Work Independently and As Part of a Team
  • Positive, Professional Attitude with a Willingness to Learn and Grow
  • Great PLUS: Experience, Education or Experience in Livestock Farming, the Animal Health Industry or Working With/Around Livestock, Horses or Pets
