Job description

Position Summary:


This position is directly responsible for providing services to the PET and 3 Gallon Accounts of Menehune Water Company by ensuring product is stocked at retail stores throughout Oahu


Essential Functions:


  1. Maintains open communication with PET Manager & Director of Sales.
  2. Develops a working relationship with managers, clerks, etc. (internal and external) to maintain or grow sales.
  3. Appropriately places orders for each account in order to maximize sales revenue.
  4. Assists PET Manager with orders and small-pack issues.
  5. Maintains, grows and upgrades product’s shelf space.
  6. Restocks product that has either expired or has been damaged.
  7. Maintains accurate inventory of product at each store and reports all inventory counts to Manager.
  8. Maintains product transfers from small-pack and 5 gallon warehouses to appropriate accounts.
  9. Returns reusable pallets and boxes to Menehune Water Company when possible.
  10. Introduces new product to accounts as they become available.
  11. Set-up and break-down for all promotional events pertinent to sales of PET/3 & 5 gallon product.
  12. Process orders, and fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
  13. Upon delivery, obtain appropriate signature on invoices and provide customer with a copy.
  14. Ability to perform the physical duties required in the warehouse, lifting, operating a forklift and pallet jack in order to retrieve product.
  15. Develop and maintain a delivery van use schedule for merchandising at various accounts. Proper daily check-out and check-in of van and weekly cleaning.
  16. Other duties as assigned.

May be required to work on weekends and holidays.


Freedom to Act


Limited freedom to act, however good judgment is needed while performing duties. Complex, or unique problems should be referred to the PET Manager for guidance and direction.


Mental, Physical and Communication Demands:


  1. Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance consistent with assigned work schedule (see Working Schedule below).
  2. Must follow instructions and all safety policies and procedures. Must work cooperatively with others and exhibit a willingness to work as part of a team.
  3. Must understand and carry out oral and written instruction.
  4. Requires at a minimum and in addition to other job requirements, basic reading, writing, math, and problem solving skills.
  5. Requires a considerable amount of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and heavy lifting (not exceeding 50 pounds) to complete essential job duties listed above.
  6. Good oral and interpersonal skills to interact in a professional and friendly manner with everyone (co-workers, the general public, etc.).
  7. Must be able to work under deadlines and/or occasional pressure, use judgment or discretion, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Minimum Job Requirements

(Background needed (type and years) – Express the equivalent experience needed if an education level is required)


High school diploma and 1 – 3 years of warehouse experience.

Knowledge of MS Office package (Word, Excel)

  1. Environmental, Health and Safety knowledge and skills.
  2. Great interpersonal skills.
  3. Assignments often must be completed in a very short amount of time with little advance notice.

Working Schedule & Conditions, Equipment Used, and Additional Comments:


Work hours may range from 5:00 am – 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday depending on assigned shift. Possible evening, weekend and holiday work required, subject to change with little or no notice.
