What You'll Do:

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for performing the functions and accountabilities required in the Outbound Operations Department including supporting the Warehouse Management Team with training, leading and directing other warehouse personnel in the absence of management or when required to do so. 

  •  Responsible for performing the functions and accountabilities required for the operations team.
  • Support the Warehouse Management team with training, leading, and directing other warehouse personnel in the absence of management or when required to do so.
  • Support the Warehouse Management Team in leading by example, motivating and inspiring the warehouse employees to maintain high performance and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work space,
  • Perform functions, accountabilities and supporting activities while complying with safety procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Assist other departments on an as needed basis.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in safely operating warehouse equipment (e.g. forklift, pallet jack, high reach truck), preferred
  • Candidate must have the ability to read, write and understand English, including identifying numbers
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willing and able to make decisions within the Team Leader area of responsibility (leading by example, delegating work, evaluating performance, motivating, training employees, etc.)
  • Candidate must have reliable transportation, flexible schedule, solid attendance and a positive, professional attitude and demonstrated ability to lead a team through motivation and mentoring
