Description
Wastequip division Container Pros is looking for a Department Supervisor for our Houston, TX location. The Supervisor will coordinate the activities of all staff, including Technicians, Welders and Painters, engaged in the repair of customer refuse containers needing service both onsite and offsite. Also provides reporting to management on all work and ensures customer satisfaction is maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Assigns work orders to appropriate team members as appropriate to meet customer commitments

  • Provides leadership and guidance to ensure work performed matches customer and/or service order request

  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance

  • Clearly communicate goals, expectations and provide timely feedback as appropriate

  • Interacts with customer as needed to provide status updates, obtain additional information and ensure overall customer satisfaction

  • Provides daily status updates to management on progress of work orders

  • Works with appropriate team members to resolve issues or request support as needed

  • Travel by vehicle to customers either by driving or as a passenger.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience as a supervisor

  • Knowledge of Commercial Trash cans and Roll-offs

  • Experience leading teams

  • Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions

  • Able to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic components

  • General mechanical abilities

  • Must have good customer service skills.

  • Ability to ride in a vehicle for long periods of time
