What You'll Do... As a Pest Control Technician, you'll play an important role in protecting homes and businesses while building long-term relationships with customers. Your workday will include traveling to scheduled appointments, assessing pest concerns, and applying professional treatment plans. You'll also educate customers and recommend preventive solutions, delivering service with honesty, empathy, and consistency.

Who You Are... Successful technicians at American Pest are dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent service. You'll be at least 18 years old and bring a professional mindset to your work. You'll also have:

  • The ability to safely move about customer locations, ascend and descend stairs and ladders, and work in tight or hard-to-reach spaces
  • The ability to safely move items and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • The ability to work outdoors in all regular seasonal weather conditions
  • Comfort using computers, smartphones, and related technology
  • A valid driver's license held for at least 3 years with an acceptable driving record
  • The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Solid attention to detail
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
