Position: Pest Control Technician
Location: La Grange, Texas
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role

As a Pest Control Technician, you will inspect, treat, and help prevent pest problems for residential and commercial customers. You will work independently on a daily route while delivering safe, effective service and excellent customer care.
Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled pest-control inspections, treatments, and follow-up services.
  • Identify pest activity, entry points, harborage areas, and conducive conditions.
  • Apply products according to label directions, company procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Explain treatment results and prevention recommendations to customers.
  • Complete accurate service records through company systems.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized company vehicle, equipment, and product inventory.
  • Follow all safety procedures and represent Double C professionally at every visit.
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • TDA pest-control license preferred, or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
  • Pest control, field-service, maintenance, or customer-service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work indoors and outdoors in Texas weather, including attics, crawlspaces, and other confined areas.
  • Able to lift and carry equipment, climb ladders, and perform active field work.
  • Dependable, organized, safety-conscious, and customer-focused.
