What You'll Do... As a State-Certified Pest Control Technician, you'll provide professional pest management services to residential and commercial customers while building long-term relationships through dependable service and expert recommendations. You'll manage your route, perform inspections and treatments, identify customer needs, and help protect homes and businesses from pest issues. Most importantly, you'll represent American Pest through professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to doing the job right.

Who You Are... Successful technicians at American Pest are dependable, customer-focused professionals who take ownership of their work and understand the importance of showing up prepared every day. You'll also have:

  • An active state pest control certification or license: Core + 7A (or 7D in Maryland)
  • Experience providing residential and commercial pest control services
  • A valid driver's license held for at least 3 years with an acceptable driving record
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Solid attention to detail and commitment to service quality
  • The ability to safely move about customer locations, ascend and descend stairs and ladders, and work in tight or hard-to-reach spaces
  • The ability to safely move items and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • The ability to work outdoors in all regular seasonal weather conditions
  • Comfort using computers, smartphones, and related technology
  • The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
  • Weekend availability for optional opportunities
  • High school diploma or equivalent
