Join our growing MGA client! We’re seeking a motivated professional as a VP of Personal Lines Underwriting with precision and speed!

What You'll Do:

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Personal Lines underwriting team.

Grow your own book of business while driving team sales and profitability.

Oversee complex underwriting decisions, risk selection, and pricing integrity.

Optimize workflows, automation, and technology to improve operational efficiency.

Expand carrier partnerships and product offerings to strengthen the Personal Lines portfolio.

Monitor underwriting performance, ensure carrier compliance, and identify growth opportunities.

Champion innovation and drive continuous improvement across the department.

What We're Looking For:

7+ years of Personal Lines underwriting experience with strong risk selection and pricing expertise.

Proven leadership experience developing and mentoring underwriting teams.

Experience with underwriting/rating platforms, agency management systems, and workflow automation.

Ability to lead organizational change and technology initiatives, including AI implementation.

Strong analytical, communication, and strategic decision-making skills.

Bachelor's degree preferred; CPCU, CIC, ASLI, or similar insurance designation highly preferred.
