Job description

A confidential, established personal injury law practice is seeking a mid-level to senior attorney to handle high-value injury litigation in Georgia. This role offers hands-on responsibility across the full case lifecycle, meaningful client interaction, and the chance to manage a significant caseload with support staff partnership in a collaborative environment.

THE ROLE

β€’ Manage an active personal injury caseload (approximately 80 to 120 matters)

β€’ Develop case strategy, evaluate liability and damages, and drive resolution plans

β€’ Draft pleadings, written discovery, motions, and settlement demands

β€’ Take and defend depositions and coordinate expert and medical evidence

β€’ Handle mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation as needed

β€’ Communicate with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel with a high service mindset

β€’ Supervise, delegate to, and mentor paralegals and support staff to maintain momentum and quality


LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

Location:

Georgia (Atlanta metro)


Schedule:

Hybrid, in office 3 days per week


REQUIREMENTS

β€’ Active Georgia bar admission in good standing

β€’ Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

β€’ 2 or more years of personal injury litigation experience with demonstrated case ownership

β€’ Proven track record of results in personal injury matters

β€’ Ability to manage a high-volume docket while maintaining strong organization and responsiveness

β€’ Strong legal writing, negotiation, and client communication skills

β€’ Professional judgment, teamwork, and dependable work history


PREFERRED BACKGROUND

β€’ Approximately 6 or more years of personal injury experience

β€’ Trial experience

β€’ Experience supervising or mentoring paralegals or other support staff

β€’ Exposure to higher-value or complex injury matters, including trucking, motor vehicle collisions, and negligence claims
