• Maintain an active caseload of clients by establishing rapport and fostering trustworthy relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.
• Conduct regular sessions to assess client progress, address stability requirements, and plan for discharge when appropriate.
• Design, implement, and monitor person-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Getting Better Counseling Clinic, you will work predominantly with a diverse outpatient population that may include individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Your clinical expertise will help empower clients from various backgrounds to navigate their mental health journeys, with a focus on sensitivity and cultural competence.

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
• Valid and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in New Jersey.
• At least three years of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting.
• Proficiency in using technology for client management, including familiarity with electronic health records, CRM systems, and communication tools.
• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, with a strong ability to conduct intake assessments.

• A documented history of developing effective treatment strategies and achieving positive client outcomes.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methodologies.

• The salary range for this position is USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, reflecting a commitment to attractive compensation for dedicated mental health professionals.
