What is a Personal CFO?

A Personal CFO (Chief Financial Officer) is a financial professional who manages and coordinates all aspects of an individual’s or family’s financial life. This includes budgeting, investment management, tax planning, estate planning, retirement strategies, and risk management. A Personal CFO acts as a trusted advisor, helping clients make informed decisions to achieve their long-term financial goals. They often collaborate with other professionals, such as accountants and attorneys, to ensure comprehensive and integrated financial planning.

What are the typical responsibilities of a Personal CFO, and how do they differ from traditional financial advisors?

A Personal CFO manages all aspects of an individual’s or family’s financial life, acting as a trusted advisor who coordinates between accountants, attorneys, investment managers, and other professionals. Unlike traditional financial advisors who may focus primarily on investments, a Personal CFO oversees cash flow planning, tax strategy, estate planning, risk management, and philanthropic goals. This role often involves proactively anticipating client needs, maintaining a holistic view of their finances, and regularly communicating with both clients and their other advisors to ensure all financial strategies are aligned. The position is highly collaborative and requires attention to detail, discretion, and strong interpersonal skills.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Personal CFO, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Personal CFO, you need expertise in financial planning, investment management, and tax strategy, often supported by a degree in finance or accounting and certifications like CPA or CFP. Proficiency in financial analysis software, portfolio management tools, and accounting systems is typically required. Exceptional interpersonal skills, discretion, and proactive problem-solving help build trust and deliver tailored financial advice. These skills ensure clients receive comprehensive, strategic guidance to optimize their wealth and achieve long-term financial goals.

Senior Enterprise Sales Representative - New Logo (Office of CFO/CAO)

Qurrent Inc.

San Francisco, CA • On-site

$383 - $433/hr

Job description

Senior Enterprise Sales Representative - New Logo (Office of CFO/CAO)

Senior Enterprise Sales Representative - New Logo (Office of CFO/CAO)

Target Profile: 10+ years in selling to CFO’s from either BPO’s, Finance/Advisory or relevant FinTech SaaS solutions.

This is a full-time role with preference to be in our San Francisco HQ regularly. Non Bay Area candidates will be considered only with exceptional experience in selling transformations to the Office of the CFO.

About Qurrent

Qurrent provides fully managed, autonomous AI workforces that execute complex back-office operations across finance, supply chain, procurement, and more. Unlike AI tools that require customers to build and maintain their own automations, Qurrent owns the deployment, management, and ongoing performance of the digital workers while contractually guaranteeing outcomes via SLAs.

The opportunity:

  • We are seeking a senior enterprise sales executive with deep relationships across the Office of the CFO and a proven track record selling either finance transformation, outsourcing, managed services, consulting, and operational transformation programs — or transformational enterprise technology (SaaS, ERP, AI, automation, procurement, or finance systems) — into Fortune 1000 organizations.
  • This role is ideal for a proven hunter from a large BPO provider, Finance and Accounting Advisory, or finance enterprise software.
  • This is not a transactional software sales role. Qurrent is pioneering a new operating model for enterprise back-office execution through autonomous AI agents that fully manage and execute finance and operational processes with SLA-backed, guaranteed outcomes, not just software licenses.

The ideal candidate brings:

  • Strong rolodex of Finance and Accounting relationships to prospect into on Day 1 with an ability to open doors and build pipeline through executive relationships, strategic prospecting, and ecosystem partnerships
  • Expertise in F&A processes including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, and Planning & Analysis.
  • Executive-level relationships across CFO and shared services organizations
  • Expertise selling large-scale transformation programs and managed services engagements, and/or complex enterprise platforms with multi-million-dollar deal sizes
  • Strong business and operational consulting acumen
  • Strong consultative and value-based selling capabilities
  • Ability to engage senior finance leaders around cost optimization, productivity, and operating model redesign
  • Expertise navigating complex, multi-threaded sales cycles and executive alignment processes
  • Strong understanding of shared services, outsourcing, finance operations, ERP ecosystems, and AI transformation initiatives
  • High urgency and adaptability in a fast-scaling startup environment

This individual will help position Qurrent as a strategic transformation partner for enterprises modernizing finance and operational functions through AI-driven execution models — playing a critical role in accelerating Qurrent’s enterprise expansion and establishing the company as a category leader in AI-powered business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Net New Logo Selling Into the Office of the CFO
  • Position Qurrent’s AI-powered platform for Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, and Planning & Analysis workflows.
  • Identify and target senior executive relationships with CFOs, CAOs, Controllers, FP&A leaders, Shared Services leaders, and Transformation leaders across enterprise and large MM accounts.
  • Lead value-based conversations around finance transformation, back-office modernization, AI adoption, and operational efficiency.
  • Own full-cycle enterprise sales for net-new logos from prospecting through close.
  • Build pipeline aggressively through outbound prospecting, executive networking, ecosystem relationships, and personal CFO network activation.
  • Create and execute account penetration strategies across Fortune 1000 and upper mid-market accounts.
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder buying motions involving finance, operations, IT, procurement, security, and executive leadership.
  • Partner closely with solution engineering, AI strategists, and delivery teams to shape high-impact business cases and POVs.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and drive deals to closure with urgency and discipline

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales, consulting, or business development experience — within consulting, outsourcing, or transformation services organizations, and/or selling complex technology solutions into CFO organizations at Fortune 1000 companies
  • Proven success selling into CFOs, CAOs, Controllers, Shared Services leaders, GBS organizations, procurement, or Transformation Offices
  • Demonstrated success selling two or more of the following:
  • Finance transformation programs
  • BPO / shared services solutions
  • Managed services
  • ERP transformation initiativesConsulting-led operational transformation
  • Intelligent automation or AI-enabled services
  • AI and automation platforms
  • ERP, procurement, or finance systems
  • Workflow or business process platforms
  • Finance transformation technology
  • Track record leading large, complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise pursuits and multi-year transformation engagements
  • Consistent track record exceeding enterprise quotas of $2M–$5M+ ARR
  • Strong executive presence, communication, and consultative selling skills, with the ability to engage C-level buyers
  • Proven ability to independently source and build pipeline through executive networking, strategic partnerships, and relationship-based selling in competitive enterprise markets.

Compensation

  • OTE: $383K–$433K+
  • Meaningful equity participation
  • Accelerators for new logo wins and over achieving quota

Qurrent is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to inclusion, diversity, and equity in the workplace. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veterans’ status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
