Job Description:
Overview
The Associate, Commerce & Retail Media supports the execution and maintenance of retail media campaigns across major retail media networks. This role is responsible for campaign builds, pacing support, optimization implementation, reporting preparation, and billing documentation in alignment with client governance standards.
The Associate works closely with Managers and Senior Managers to ensure campaigns are launched accurately, budgets are paced correctly, and reporting and financial documentation are maintained with precision. This role is execution-focused and foundational to delivering operational excellence across retail media programs.
Responsibilities
  • Build and launch retail media campaigns across sponsored search and onsite ad formats within retailer platforms (eg, Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, Kroger, Instacart, Albertsons, CVS, Walgreens, Meijer, BJ's, Sam's Club, Costco, etc.).

  • Implement keyword, SKU, audience, and bid adjustments as directed by Managers.

  • Maintain detailed optimization logs and documentation of all campaign changes.

  • Monitor daily pacing against approved budgets and flight dates, update internal pacing trackers accordingly.

  • Identify and escalate pacing or performance anomalies to the Manager in a timely manner.

  • Pull and organize campaign performance data from Tableau dashboards, Pacvue, Criteo, and retailer UIs.

  • Populate reporting templates, scorecards, and internal trackers with accuracy.

  • Conduct regular reconciliations between dashboards and retailer platforms to ensure data integrity.

  • Update flighting sheets with placeholders and actualizations.

  • Maintain proof-of-performance documentation and support billing workflows within MediaOcean/Prisma.

  • Ensure all work adheres to client governance, compliance, and documentation standards.

  • Communicate proactively regarding roadblocks, timeline risks, or executional issues.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • 0-2 years of experience in digital media, retail/commerce media, performance marketing, or related fields.

  • Strong interest in eCommerce, retail media networks, and performance driven marketing.

  • Highly detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas)

  • Familiarity with dashboard reporting tools such as Tableau.

  • Exposure to retail media platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Instacart, Criteo, Kroger, etc) is a plus.

  • Experience with Pacvue, Skai, Criteo, or similar campaign management tools is a plus.

  • Experience with MediaOcean/Prisma billing workflows is a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $45,000 -$55,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
