Locums Hematology and Oncology Physician in Waterbury, Connecticut - Outpatient Focus, Four-Day Schedule

Join an established hematology and oncology team with a primarily outpatient schedule and shared call responsibilities. This assignment combines continuity of care with a balanced mix of clinic and inpatient rounding.


Highlights:


  • Four-day outpatient schedule
  • Established multidisciplinary cancer program
  • Shared 1:3 call rotation
  • Balanced outpatient and inpatient practice

Practice & Cases:


  • Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient hematology and oncology care
  • Work alongside radiation oncologists, APPs, and nurse oncology staff
  • Participation in tumor board and treatment planning
  • Average of 15-16 outpatient visits and 1-5 inpatient patients daily

Schedule:


  • Outpatient clinic Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
  • Clinic hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Shared 1:3 evening and weekend call
  • Coverage from September through December

Requirements:


  • Must be an MD or DO
  • Active Connecticut medical license required
  • Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
  • BLS required
