RN- Nurse Manager, Medical Telemetry (Rotating Shift)

Location: Margate, FL, 33063
Shift: 10-hr Variable Shift
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)

 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Direct daily operations of the Medical Telemetry Unit
    • Supervise, coach, and support nursing staff including Charge Nurses
    • Ensure compliance with clinical policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
    • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and leadership to coordinate care
    • Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and supply chain needs of the department
    • Monitor patient outcomes and implement performance improvement initiatives
    • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and compassionate patient care

    Qu alifications:

    • Current Florida RN license or compact licensure eligible under Florida guidelines
    • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
    • BLS Certification – Required (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
    • ACLS Certification – Required (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
    • Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience
    • Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Charge Nurse, Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), or similar nursing leadership role in an acute care setting
    • Strong communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills
