Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct client assessments to develop individualized treatment plans, ensuring alignment with their specific needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, tailored to diverse client backgrounds.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation through electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops and training to stay updated on the latest mental health practices and research.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, promoting their overall well-being.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be providing therapy to a diverse clientele, focusing primarily on individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health care. Your role is crucial for reaching underserved populations in the El Monte area, ensuring they receive the support they need to navigate their mental health challenges.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
