Job description

Reporting Line: Manager, HRBP
Job Summary: Acts as an emerging HR Business Partner, supporting designated business areas while building deep understanding of the business and developing strategic partnership capabilities. Provides guidance on people-related matters and contributes to business outcomes through proactive HR support, data insights, and strong partnership with managers.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Build strong working relationships with managers and employees within assigned business areas to develop business acumen and credibility as an HR partner.
• Partner with managers on day-to-day and emerging people topics, including employee relations, performance management, team effectiveness, and organizational changes.
• Proactively gather and analyze business and HR data (turnover, engagement, performance trends) to identify insights and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with leaders within assigned client groups to execute talent and organizational initiatives including:
  • Talent reviews and succession planning
  • Workforce planning
  • Organizational design changes
  • Employee engagement strategies

• Provide input to managers on employee development, performance concerns, and team dynamics, escalating complex situations as needed.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll) to align HR solutions with business needs.
• Lead or contribute to HR projects and initiatives impacting assigned business areas.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies and compliance with employment laws.
• Participate in building a more proactive, consultative HRBP model within the team.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Progress toward or interest in HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
  • 2-4 years of HR experience, including exposure to business-facing HR support (e.g., advising managers, handling employee matters, supporting talent processes).
  • Foundational experience across core HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, recruiting, compensation, and talent development.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work directly alongside managers and employees on people-related topics.
  • Developing business acumen and strong interest in understanding how HR drives business outcomes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders.
  • Analytical capability, including experience working with HR data and identifying trends or insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
