Job description

Job Title: Machine Operator (Entry-Level / Trainable)
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator with basic machining experience to
support daily production operations. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on shop
experience who is willing to learn and grow into more advanced machining
responsibilities, including CNC operation and setup.

Key Responsibilities
Operate production machines safely and efficiently
Load and unload parts and materials
Follow work instructions and job travelers
Perform basic in-process inspections using calipers and gauges
Deburr and clean parts as required
Monitor machine operation and report issues to supervisor
Maintain clean and organized work area
Follow all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications
Required:
Previous manufacturing or machining experience
Ability to use basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers preferred)
Ability to read simple prints and follow instructions
Basic math skills (including decimals and fractions)
Strong work ethic and reliability
Preferred (but not required):
Exposure to CNC machines (loading parts, offset adjustments, tool changes)
Understanding of basic machine shop practices
Experience working in a production environment
