We are looking for a Network Storage Administrator to be the backbone of our cloud infrastructure and a technical authority for our clients. You are a "builder" at heart-equally comfortable in the weeds of a VPC as you are explaining storage latency to a stakeholder.
You thrive on the intersection of networking and storage, ensuring that data is not just stored securely, but is accessible, performant, and resilient. You are a master of AWS connectivity and storage services, with a deep understanding of how to bridge the gap between complex client needs and scalable cloud-native environments.
What You'll Do
• Architect Connectivity & Storage: Design and oversee the implementation of enterprise-scale VPC topologies, hybrid networking, and multi-tier storage strategies on AWS.
• Own the Data Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data storage, from high-performance block storage (EBS) to scalable object storage (S3) and automated lifecycle policies.
• Modernize the Infrastructure: Lead the transition from legacy storage/network patterns to modern, automated, and code-driven infrastructure (IaC).
• Be the Client-Facing Expert: Lead technical discovery sessions to understand data movement and storage requirements, translating them into robust architectural roadmaps.
• Set the Standard: Define and enforce best practices for network security (Security Groups, NACLs), data encryption, and cross-region disaster recovery.
• Solve the Unsolvable: Act as the final point of escalation for complex performance bottlenecks, networking "hiccups," and critical recovery scenarios.
What You Bring (Requirements)
• Professional Experience: 5-8+ years of experience in network administration, storage management, or cloud infrastructure operations.
• AWS Infrastructure Mastery: Deep architectural expertise in AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect) and storage (S3, EBS, EFS, FSx).
• Automation Mindset: Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting and experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).
• Data Protection Expert: Proven ability to implement robust backup, recovery, and replication strategies in a high-stakes environment.
• Security First: Strong understanding of IAM, data encryption at rest/in transit, and network-level security protocols.
• Client-Facing Excellence: Exceptional skills in leading technical workshops and presenting infrastructure solutions to executive stakeholders.
Startup Mentality: A strategic "builder" mindset with a genuine thirst for knowledge and the agility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Thanks & Regards,
Girish Kumar
