Are you an experienced IT Systems Engineer who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and working across a diverse technology environment? Our customer is looking for a hands-on professional to support and enhance enterprise infrastructure while leading projects across cloud, networking, virtualization, and server technologies.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, virtualization, and networking environments.
  • Manage and support hybrid cloud infrastructure, including Azure virtual machines, storage, backup, and recovery solutions.
  • Administer Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and hybrid Azure AD environments.
  • Configure and support Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, including Cisco switches, routers, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networks.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and network issues, perform root cause analysis, and document solutions to improve long-term reliability.
  • Manage virtual server environments, including Hyper-V and Windows-based virtual machines, ensuring systems remain secure and up to date.
  • Implement infrastructure improvements that enhance security, scalability, performance, and business continuity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on infrastructure upgrades, system implementations, and technology projects across multiple business units.

    We're looking for experience with:

    • Microsoft Azure (preferred) or AWS cloud environments
    • Windows Server and Active Directory administration
    • TCP/IP networking (Layer 2, 3 & 4), routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls
    • Cisco networking technologies
    • Hyper-V, virtual machines, and enterprise infrastructure
    • Microsoft 365 and hybrid Azure AD environments
    • Knowledge of backup and replication, SAN, SQL
    • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostics, and documentation skills
    • PowerShell or other automation/scripting experience is a plus
