Job description

Our client is an established mechanical and HVAC contractor seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Service Technician to support commercial and industrial systems across the Raleigh, NC region. The ideal candidate brings 5-10 years of commercial HVAC experience along with strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and refrigeration skills. Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems at an advanced level.
- Lead service calls and respond to urgent maintenance needs, including participation in an on-call rotation.
- Perform preventative maintenance, system inspections, and performance testing to maximize efficiency and reliability.
- Read and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents to ensure accurate repairs and installations.
- Travel to commercial and industrial job sites as needed, including occasional overnight assignments.
- Uphold all safety standards, industry regulations, and quality best practices on every job.
- Serve as a trusted resource for customers while mentoring and supporting junior technicians.
- Coordinate with engineering, sales, and project management teams and complete all required service documentation accurately.
Job Requirements -
- 5-10 years of hands-on commercial HVAC service and repair experience.
- Solid command of HVAC systems, controls, and electrical components.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Advanced troubleshooting ability to resolve complex mechanical and electrical problems.
- Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical ability test.
- Strong communication skills and a safety-first approach to every job.
- Commercial refrigeration experience preferred.
