Job description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Performance Analyst/Reporting Specialist to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Aggregate and validate performance data from ITSM tools, cybersecurity dashboards, financial systems, program schedules, and other sources.
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards, KPIs, and visualizations providing realtime operational and delivery visibility.
  • Prepare Monthly Status Reports, PMR briefings, and analytical narratives that synthesize trends, variances, forecasts, and rootcause analysis.
  • Conduct variance and trend analysis; produce recommendations to inform resource allocation, corrective actions, and strategic planning.
  • Coordinate with program managers, technical teams, finance, and leadership to validate data integrity and align reporting to stakeholder priorities.
  • Maintain reporting data pipelines, ETL processes, and documentation to ensure repeatability and auditability.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying data quality issues, reporting process gaps, and automation opportunities.
  • Produce adhoc analytic reports and briefings as requested by leadership.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
  • Clearance: TS/SCI (active)
  • Education / Certification: Candidate must meet ONE:
    • Bachelor's degree (BS) in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, Finance, Management, or related field; OR
    • CAPM or CompTIA Project+ certification.
  • Experience: Experience in performance analysis, PMO reporting, data analytics, or related roles (adjust per program need).
  • Technical skills: Proficiency with BI/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), Excel (advanced), SQL, and experience ingesting data from ITSM, SIEM, financial, and scheduling systems.
  • Skills: Strong data validation, dashboard design, storytelling, and briefing skills for senior leadership.

Desired / Preferred

  • Prior DoD/PMO or program reporting experience
  • Familiarity with program management processes, EVM basics, and RMF/ATO reporting constraints
  • Experience with automation/ETL tools and data pipeline maintenance

Target Salary Range$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
