THE ROLE


The Account Manager will be the primary point of contact for a dedicated roster of client relationships (universities, agencies of record), with a focus on retention and sustainable budget growth through development and execution of performance marketing campaigns.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Archer and clients providing thought leadership, on-going communication, monthly/quarterly media plans, and campaign performance analysis
  • Identify and initiate opportunities to cross sell and upsell clients on company products and services
  • Manage campaign budgets on a monthly basis, ensuring adherence through technical platforms and identifying/communicating additional opportunity where available
  • Monitor, analyze and troubleshoot campaign performance through technical platforms and performance data; develop strategies to meet client goals and grow campaigns/client partnerships Understand client business objectives, marketing strategy, ROI goals, program offers, competitive landscape, target demographics etc.
  • Drive monthly processes including planning/forecasting, changes to campaign structure, invoicing/follow-up on receivables etc.
  • Manage all aspects of new client relationships including onboarding/integrations process through ongoing management

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee management of dedicated client partnerships

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • 3+ years of experience in Lead/Inquiry generation in the EDU vertical
  • Prior established relationships and strong understanding of marketing vocabulary (CPL,CPA,CPS etc.)
  • General knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, especially Excel – filters/VLOOKUP/pivot table, Google suite. Able to work with large set of data across various LMS/CRMs
  • Ability to translate performance data into business insights and action; summarize and share succinctly
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to speak articulately and credibly, effective presentation & writing skills
  • Strong customer service and ability to build relationships with individuals at all levels
  • Excellent time and project management; highly attentive to detail
  • Strong sense of urgency and initiative

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of account management experience in higher education and/or performance marketing experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Salesforce, Velocify or similar sales/CRM applications
  • Prior experience in research, analysis, cross-tabulation analysis

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Some travel to clients and/or conferences Travel 1-3 times/year including partner visits, conferences and/or company events
  • Work sometimes requires nights, weekends and on-call as part of the job. Lift up to 20 pounds for movement of boxes/materials as needed for conferences
