Overview of the Position:

The Manager, HR Corporate Shared Services, leads a team of representatives who deliver centralized HR services within a shared services environment. The position is responsible for overseeing the execution of critical HR processes related to compensation, payroll, organizational development, compliance and performance management. The role enables HR Business Partners at the facility level to successfully execute HR initiatives by delivering world-class processes, policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of the Company HCM system, including:
  • System Set up of recruiting, performance management, salary planning, etc.
  • Data maintenance and reporting.
  • Managing the transition of newly acquired organizations into the Company HCM and processes.
  • Administer Company compensation program, including developing and maintaining job descriptions, maintaining accurate data, and supporting the market analysis processes.
  • Manage the team responsible for payroll and benefits administration, including time clock administration, liaison between corporate payroll and facilities, payroll validation, audit support and execution of wellness initiatives.
  • Lead the administration of the Corporate Drug Testing Program.
  • Lead and direct the work of the corporate shared services team including personnel decisions, performance reviews, coaching and mentoring, coordinating tasks and ensuring performance execution.
  • Track performance against key indicators to assess departmental performance, develop goals and implement process improvements or enhancements.
  • Perform other duties as needed

  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Perform complex tasks typically following established processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with all levels of staff.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • General familiarity of HR laws and regulations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of compensation management practices and general HR administration.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team, collaborate with others and work independently as needed.
  • Highly effective verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems using logic, reasoning, analytical skills and collaboration across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to gain and retain knowledge of HR and Wencor policies.
  • Able to work under pressure, prioritize duties and meet deadlines.

Education / Experience Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in related field and 5 or more years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
