Job Description
Hours
  • Full-Time, Exempt (Salary - Weekly Pay)

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives - Lead warehouse-wide deployment of Lean methodologies including 5S, Kaizen, A3, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), problem solving, and layout optimization.
  • Develop Engineered Standards & KPIs - Create measurable performance standards, establish operational KPIs, and rigorously deploy metrics to drive accountability and improvement.
  • Project Management & Process Optimization - Identify improvement opportunities, coordinate resources, and manage projects to deliver measurable cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Engineering & Systems Solutions - Provide solutions for warehouse processes, facility layouts, material handling equipment, and WMS systems (Oracle, ASC Trac, HighJump) based on activity levels and product flow.
  • Safety & Compliance Leadership - Serve as site safety representative with corporate guidance, oversee safety reporting, maintain SOPs, and support ISO certification efforts.

Work Environment
  • This position operates in a warehouse environment with forklift traffic present throughout the facility. Temperatures may vary and can be hot or cold depending on climate conditions.
  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, climbing stairs, stooping, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field required
  • Six Sigma knowledge preferred

Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in an Engineering or Continuous Improvement role preferred
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Experience developing KPIs and engineered labor standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, DAX, or C++ preferred
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Oracle, ASC Trac, HighJump)
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment selection and facility layout planning
  • Background in safety reporting and compliance preferred

Additional Information
Pay / Benefits / Perks
  • 65 - 65K Yearly
  • Accrue up to five (5) days PTO in first year
