Job description

Primary Responsibilities:
  • 1st Shift Monday- Friday 7am- 4pm (some weekends)
  • Pay: $19.00- $24.00 per/ hr

As the Inventory Auditor/Cycle Counter, you will be responsible for performing counts of the physical inventory and researching ways to insure efficiencies within the inventory processes. You will count material, equipment, merchandise, and supplies in-stock to provide inventory records for the warehouse. A successful candidate will play a key role in providing quality assurance to warehouse practices. The cooler and freezer environments can range from 36ยฐF (2ยฐC) to -10ยฐF (-23ยฐC). Freezer jackets are provided.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Counting materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies in-stock; creating total inventory records.
  • Comparing inventories to office records and computing figures from records.
  • Verifying clerical computations against physical count of stock and investigating discrepancies.
  • Monitoring inventory rotations and making recommendations as needed.
  • Preparing reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
  • Preparing list of depleted items and recommending survey of defective/unusable items.
  • Reviewing and investigating daily reports directed by the Auditor.
  • Maintaining shrink at or below company standard.
  • Understanding overall business and departments in how they impact inventory and its integrity.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
1+ years experience in a warehouse environment.
Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position
Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry
Able to obtain certifications for powered equipment, such as Forklift operation
Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
