Position Details:
  • Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00/hour
  • Mileage reimbursement (vehicle must meet company standards)
  • Earn $300+ per month through the CarData vehicle reimbursement program
  • Monday-Friday / 8:00am - 5:00pm

Primary Responsibilities:
As a non-managerial Merchandiser with Core-Mark, a division of Performance Food Group, you will play a key role in supporting our convenience store partners by implementing product displays, maintaining planograms, and ensuring our retail locations are properly merchandised for maximum sales and profitability. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service. This field-based role requires daily use of your own reliable personal vehicle.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Drive daily to assigned customer locations using your vehicle.
  • Travel to convenience stores and meet with store owners and staff to assess needs and deliver high-quality merchandising support.
  • Place and organize merchandise in designated display areas, following detailed planograms to ensure all product placements align with Core-Mark standards.
  • Set up and reset store fixtures, shelves, and displays. Remove discontinued or outdated products as needed.
  • Provide stocking, pricing, shelf-facing, product rotation, and routine shelf and product cleaning.
  • Use company-provided sales velocity reports to monitor product performance and make store-specific recommendations for items that should be discontinued or replaced to improve sales and profits.
  • Monitor potential account problems and escalate concerns to Sales Representatives or Sales Managers.
  • Ensure store aisles remain clean and safe for shoppers and store staff.
  • Build and sustain strong customer relationships by delivering outstanding customer service and resolving concerns professionally.
  • Maintain and care for assigned equipment.
  • Accurately complete and submit timesheets and activity logs.
  • Perform additional merchandising or operational tasks as assigned by leadership.

Required Qualifications

6+ months of merchandising, customer service, or retail/grocery experience.
Ability to read and implement retail planograms.
Reliable personal vehicle compliant with Core-Mark/PFG guidelines.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proof of current automobile insurance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift 5-25 lbs. frequently; occasional lifting of up to 70 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience performing store resets.
Familiarity with handheld scanners or retail ordering technology.
Must have a working cell phone for work purposes.
