Job description

The Senior Marketing & Communications Coordinator supports the planning, development, and execution of marketing, communications, and community engagement initiatives across Deaconess Health System. This role serves as a key liaison between operational leaders, service lines, and the Marketing & Communications team, helping coordinate projects, develop content, manage campaigns, and ensure timely delivery of strategic communications and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute marketing, communications, public relations, social media, and promotional initiatives in support of organizational goals.
  • Develop, edit, and distribute internal and external communications, marketing materials, digital content, and social media content across a variety of channels.
  • Manage projects from intake through completion, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations are met.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders, physicians and service lines to identify communication and marketing needs.
  • Assist with campaign planning, implementation, reporting, and performance tracking.
  • Support media relations, community engagement activities, events and sponsorships efforts as assigned.
  • Maintain brand standards and ensure consistency across all communications, marketing materials, and digital platforms.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, social media, or a related discipline.
  • Strong writing, editing, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, build relationships with stakeholders, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
