PCI is seeking aBranch Safety Supervisorfor itsMasthead Phoenix 521operations based inPhoenix, AZ. This individual will be responsible for the following duties:



  • Promote safety, safe work practices, and behaviors to instill an injury-free culture throughout all site and field personnel.

  • Assist the branch/site with implementing and administering the company’s accident prevention plan, policies, and procedures, including safety resources such as training, expertise, and guidance.

  • Ensure company and client safety reports and documentation are submitted timely and per client requirements and expectations.

  • Collaborate with site safety manager and field to develop and implement safety policies and procedures as necessary; monitor for effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement when necessary.

  • Conduct job site inspections and periodic audits to establish and evaluate compliance.

  • Responsible for investigating and evaluating injuries and illnesses for the project site.

  • Convey a professional and positive attitude as the safety representative of the plant site and corporation.

  • Create and maintain positive relationships with all trades, vendors, co-workers and customers to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.


This position is safety-sensitive.



  • Minimum 2-3 years of construction safety experience.

  • Must have OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 certification

  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Displays strong verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively convey information to employees, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders

  • Must have provided safety oversight for a minimum of 15 craft in the field.

  • Capable of spending 80% of daily time in the field with craft.

  • Previous experience conducting safety training.

  • Demonstrated strong work ethic with labor experience in the field.

  • Able to work 50-60 hour work weeks.

  • Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside

  • Physically able to perform assigned tasks

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently


Preferred Requirements:



  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred

  • Degree in Occupational or Environmental Health and Safety is a plus

  • Local to Phoenix, AZ Metro Area

  • Previous Rigging Training is preferred
