Job description

Custodian – Educational Facility

Perfection Group is hiring a dependable Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, healthy, and welcoming educational facility.

In this role, your work makes a visible difference every day. The classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces you care for help create an environment where students, staff, and visitors can thrive.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the details, and represents Perfection Group with professionalism and exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Do
  • Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, conference rooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, gyms, locker rooms, and common areas
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect assigned spaces
  • Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners
  • Clean windows, glass, entrances, and frequently touched surfaces
  • Restock restroom and kitchen supplies
  • Perform floor care, including buffing, stripping, waxing, burnishing, and carpet cleaning
  • Set up and remove tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings, school functions, and special events
  • Assist with seasonal cleaning, deep-cleaning assignments, and special projects
  • Identify and promptly report maintenance, safety, or security concerns
  • Safely operate floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, extractors, and other custodial equipment
  • Keep cleaning equipment, supplies, and custodial closets clean and organized
  • Follow OSHA requirements and all customer and Perfection Group safety procedures
  • Provide professional, responsive service to students, staff, visitors, and facility leaders
  • Perform basic facility-upkeep duties and other responsibilities as assigned

  • Can successfully complete a criminal background check and any customer-required pre-employment screenings
