Job description

Perfusionist: Heart of the Operation
We are seeking an Experienced Staff Perfusionist to join our SpecialtyCare team in Austin, TX at St. David's Healthcare Network. The team will consist of two (2) Area Clinical Managers, twelve (12) Perfusionists, one (1) ECMO Coordinator, ten (10) ECMO Specialists and six (6) Clinical Technicians - Autotransfusionist supporting nine (9) very talented surgeons. The adults only caseload includes CABGs, valves, VAD, HIPEC, and Aortic Reconstruction Surgeries.
SpecialtyCare is the largest provider of perfusion services in the United States. With our national presence and local professionals, we support 1 in 8 of all heart surgeries in the country. Position Requirements
  • Graduate of Accredited Perfusion training program.
  • Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or meets other Company requirements as a perfusionist.
  • Ability to work on Call; must live within 30 minutes from the hospital.
