Position Summary

A Universal Banking Specialist is the liaison between the Bank and its current and potential customers.

A Universal Banking Specialist is responsible for all service activities and duties. From greeting customers, to effectively solving customer concerns, complaints and inquiries. The employee will identify the customers' needs by answering questions, offering assistance in lending options and will provide product and service information.

While working in the call center, a Universal Banking Specialist must manage large volumes of calls in a timely manner. Employee will open accounts, process loan payments; process deposits, cash checks and offer customer service solution in a non-customer facing environment.

A Universal Banking Specialist must maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm reflecting the Banks commitment to our customers. Employee should have a strong understanding of all bank product features and functionality. Employee should also have a thorough knowledge of current bank policies and procedures, as well as Federal and State laws and regulations.

In addition, the position has backup duties assisting the banks bookkeeping department.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, high level of energy and motivation with the ability to manage multiple tasks, strong quantitative and analytical skills, ability to work with various teams to ensure outstanding customer service, strong proficiency with MS Suite of products. Ability to meet established deadlines, work productively individually, communicate effectively in writing and orally, operate standard office equipment, travel to various bank locations and training activities as needed, high integrity and ethical standards a must.

Position Requirements

Previous banking experience, business development or retail experience preferred.


Candidate must be available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, and Saturdays.

Call Center operational hours are as follows:

Mon.-Fri. 8:00am-7:00pm

Sat. 9am-Noon
