Job description

Overview
Electrician II is responsible for the maintaining, ordering, installing, tracking and optimization of
electrical equipment used in field operations. This position should be in charge of the electrical system of a production area and should be able to provide day to day support with some assistance.
Responsibilities
  • Change electric motors, sheaves, & belts
  • Calculate sheave size to achieve desired SPM
  • Utilize hot stick to change line fuses and reset reclosers
  • Run conduit and pull wire
  • Install ESP surface equipment
  • Install, trouble shoot, and repair control panels
  • Splice underground 6 vac cable
  • Maintain surge protective devices
  • Install and maintain grounding systems
  • Install POC'sCommunicate issues to supervisor
  • Keep Company vehicle serviced, clean, and stocked

Qualifications
  • Minimum Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of applicable codes where concerned with oil & gas industry
  • Minimum three years work related experience
