Healthtrax is hiring a tai chi instructor to teach and guide our members in the martial art of tai chi.
A bit about the work you will do:
  • Introduce and teach new and experienced participants the movement art of tai chi and/or qi-gong with clarity and calm confidence articulating concepts of relaxation and centeredness to participants
  • Guide each participant to a position or movement so that he/she/they experiences greater mental focus to achieve relaxation, better balance, and confidence within
  • Create a welcoming class environment for all fitness levels while observing all participants level of exertion and understanding of physical ability for safety
  • Clearly communicate to motivate and encourage participants to achieve their fitness goals.
  • Nurture individual and group camaraderie amongst participants and co-workers
  • Keep accurate class attendance and related business records
  • Attend required training sessions, workshops, staff meetings, participates in continued education, exhibits a personal passion for health and fitness
  • Follow Healthtrax policies/procedures and professional practitioner best practices
  • Exudes enthusiasm, for life, that is contagious!
