Emergency Medicine Physician - Rural Critical Access Hospital in Oak Bluffs, MA

What You'll Do

  • Manage approximately 2.5 to 3 patients per hour, seeing all ages
  • Document patient encounters using Epic EMR system
  • Collaborate with available onsite staff and support services
  • Follow all hospital protocols and state regulations
  • Contribute to patient safety and quality care in a resource-limited setting
What You Need
  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (no internal medicine or family practice)
  • Active Massachusetts medical license
  • Completed ACLS certification
  • At least 1 year of emergency medicine experience
  • Ability to work night shifts and adapt to rural healthcare environment
About the Assignment

This role is based at a leading facility in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts, a welcoming coastal community. The hospital is a small, 25-bed facility with approximately 20-24 patients seen daily, serving all age groups with limited onsite specialty support. It offers a rewarding environment for providers interested in rural healthcare delivery and community impact.
