Job description

Sound Physicians is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team at Covenant Hospital in Levelland, TX. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a rural emergency department setting, working within a collaborative and supportive environment. The position emphasizes patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and making a meaningful impact within the community.

Practice Info

  • Join a close-knit team of 6 Emergency Medicine physicians.
  • Work within a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Practice alongside a community-oriented team known for a solid work ethic and passion for community.
  • Accountable, on-site leadership with a local medical director.
  • Stable, well-staffed teams aligned on a patient-first culture of excellence.
  • Rural emergency department with 7 ED beds, an average of 6,400 annual visits, and Level IV trauma designation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide top-quality patient care to a rural emergency department.
  • Manage a workload averaging 1 patient per hour.
  • Use EPIC as the electronic medical record system.
  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to every patient, every time.
  • Foster lasting relationships with hospital partners.
  • Lead in quality, helping the hospital achieve excellence across the ED care experience.

Compensation

  • Competitive 1099 compensation.

Shift & Schedule

  • Flexible work schedule with options for 1099 full-time, part-time, or PRN hours.

Requirements

  • Board certified/eligible in emergency medicine or family/internal medicine with emergency medicine experience.
  • Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Texas.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
