Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Tech) | Per Diem / PRN

Variable 8-12 Hour Shifts
$40.11 - $60.17 per hour + 15% differential in lieu of traditional benefits

Flexible Per Diem Work with a Supportive Team

Many PRN opportunities offer scheduling flexibility. This one also gives you the chance to work alongside welcoming teams, serve diverse patient populations, and stay connected to a respected healthcare organization.

As a Per Diem Radiology Technologist with PeaceHealth, you'll provide coverage across outpatient clinic locations throughout Eugene and Springfield. Each clinic has its own pace, providers, and patient mix, allowing you to build a broad range of experience while remaining part of one cohesive organization.

You'll share your availability ahead of time, and schedules are typically provided 2 to 4 weeks in advance whenever possible. Additional shifts may become available to help cover PTO, leaves of absence, callouts, and other staffing needs across the clinics.

Required Credentials
  • ARRT Eligible or ARRT Registered in Radiography
  • Registered with OBMI
  • An OBMI temporary license is acceptable while awaiting ARRT certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
Education
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology program or
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology
Experience
  • One year of relevant experience preferred
  • PACS/RIS knowledge required
  • Demonstrated competency in venipuncture required
  • Experience with ImageCast/CareCast preferred

This position requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and use of fine motor skills while operating imaging equipment. The role also involves occasional lifting and moving of up to 30 pounds, as well as assisting with patient handling of up to 35 pounds using appropriate assistive devices when available. Regular exposure to biohazardous materials, bodily fluids, and airborne particles should be expected. Candidates must possess the vision, hearing, and communication abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the job safely and effectively.
