Job Overview:
The OR/Surgical Tech will assist in providing nursing care to the surgical patient.
General Responsibilities:
  • Performs scrub duties, assists in the maintenance of instruments, equipment and supplies.
  • Assists in preparation, transportation and supervision of patients.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required
  • Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year surgical technologist preferred
  • Surgical Technologist Certification required
  • Current AHA or ARC BLS
