Job description

Per Diem Circulating Nurse for an outpatient surgery center.

Qualifications:

·         Current Nevada nursing license

·         Current ACLS and BLS certification

·         Two years prior nursing experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate

Looking for a self-starter to work one to two days a week in a fast pasted outpatient surgery center. Our facility is equipped with three operating rooms and two procedure rooms. We do mainly cataract surgery one to two days a week with possibility of ramping up in the future.

Responsibilities:

·         Pull supplies and medications needed for each case and assist scrub technician in sterile set-up.

·         Primarily responsible for needs of scrub technician, surgeon, and anesthesia.

·         Fills out pathology requisitions for specimens.

·         Fill out operative reports and lens and sterilizer logs.

·         Verify IOL power with chart, and technician prior to each case.

·         If Lensx patient, verify ORA and Verion.

·         Assists in Pre-Op and PACU as needed or assigned.
